After watching the semi-final 3 performed last night, I'm betting my last ringgit that Syesha Mercado will pack her bags tonight. Isn't it obvious? That will leave us with David Archuleta and David Cook. And of course, David Archuleta will win the coveted title hands down? Wanna bet?
If there's anything I learnt from this kind of competition, be it on the home front or elsewhere, everything is about popularity. Nothing is about real talent. This is evidently so in our local Akademi Fantasia reality programme. It doesn't matter if they croak like Kermit the frog as long as they have extremely good looks and charming smiles, they'll win favours. As for the girls, the moment they flaunt their bootyliciousness and gedikness, ratings will soar. People love that especially neanderthal men.
In the end, its all about survival of the fittest.
